Rwanda’s Gogo to Rock Kampala in Mega Gospel concert

East Africa’s most trending gospel singer Gogo from Rwanda of the famous hit “Every day I need blood of Jesus’’ is set to rock Kampala with a thrilling performance alongside a number of other top gospel artists in a mega gospel concert organized by Kitara,  Kabulengwa fellowship  Church of Uganda-Nansana  to take place at Imperial hotel on 20th June 2025 in their fundraising campaign to construct a 500 seater capacity church. 

The mega gospel concert which will be closing the fundraising drive that was launched today at Imperial hotel is in response of a need to raise UGX 500M for church construction with capacity to accommodate the increasing numbers of the church members to at least 500 people. 

According to Mr Gordon Mugyenyi,The Chairman organizing committee of the  fundraising drive , ‘’The purpose of the Concert is to bring together children of God under one roof to celebrate his love and mercy as we raise funds to build the house of the Lord at Kitara ,Kabulengwa fellowship Church of Uganda’’. 

 The fundraising concert which will be presided over by Asst.Bishop of Kampala Diocese, The Rt Rev Jackson Frederick Baalwa as the guest of honor will attract performances from many other of the top Uganda’s gospel artists like legendary  Joseph Ngoma , Fr Musaala, Gabbie Ntaate,Peace Mbabazi Kyamukongwire and Anne Muriisa  from Western Uganda as well as MC Kachaina who will be the MC of the day among others. 

According to Maj.Turyagyenda Denis, the head of laity at Kitara, Kabulengwa fellowship church of Uganda, The church which started in 2020 as a result of Covid 19 lock down , has over the last 5 years seen numbers of church members grow steadily which calls for an urgent need to put up a church facility with enough space that can at least host 500 people. 

 Rwanda’s gospel singer Gogo has already confirmed she will be jetting into Kampala to give Ugandan gospel lovers a thrilling experience at the mega gospel concert which attract an entrance fee of 50,000Shs and the table going for 1M UGX at one of the most unique concerts in the recent years to have all Christians from differing Christianity sects like born agains, Catholics and protestants come under one roof for a Godly cause.
