The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) National Council Chairman Ambassador Wasswa Birigwa has released a Whatsapp voice note appealing to whoever cares to rescue him from the party head offices.
Birigwa who was at first denied entrance into the party premises at 11am on Thursday as he planned to address the media, was later allowed access as journalists were assaulted before chasing them.
A number of scribes sustained wounds.
From 11am Birigwa has been locked inside the party premises until 4pm when he released an audio describing the dire situation saying he is surrounded by mean-looking bouncers who are high on drugs and alcohol.
He says these hooligans are likely to do anything him if night falls.
