Uganda’s Capital Kampala was on Monday morning brought to a full blast of Excitement as Supporters of Lt.Gen.Muhoozi Kainerugaba Joined the Leadership of Team Chairman MK Project to Escort the Former to Pipping Ceremony at Bombo Military Barracks.
Muhoozi has been decorated by his uncle Gen Salim Saleh and wife Charlotte Kainerugaba.
Team Chairman MK Project, mobilised thousands of traders from within and outside Kampala Markets, Bodaboda Riders, Religious and Cultural leaders of all sections to accompany Muhoozi who was promoted to the rank of General by the Commander in Chief of the armed Forces who is also the President of the Republic of Uganda, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
Various groups of Supporters started Procession in different areas including Kansanga, Kawempe, Bombo, Mulago Matuga among others who Joined Team Chairman MK Project at their respective points to head to Bombo.
“This is a clear indication that God has again blessed this country with another leader following President Museveni’s transformational leadership. Indeed Muhoozi is loved. No doubt he is our next President. His Promotion is not personal but for all of us especially the young people “, one of the Market Vendor told Our Reporter.
It Should be remembered that President Museveni last week Promoted Lt.Gen.Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the outgoing Commander of the land Forces to the Rank General.
Muhoozi, whose support widens everyday around the country from the youths who claim that he should stand for President come 2026, was pipped on Monday at Bombo Military Barracks.
Since the Launch of his 48th Birthday Celebrations in Kampala early this year by Michael Nuwagira alias Toyota ,Gen. Muhoozi has eaten up the hearts of many Ugandans with the public asking him to take up the country’s Top office.
At the same event, Muhoozi’s successor as UPDF commander of land forces (CLF) Lt Gen Kayanja Muhanga has also been decorated by Gen. Salim Saleh.
