Security spearheaded by UPDF top officials together with journalists have Thursday toured a training facility belonging to Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) rebels in Luwero district.
The UPDF spokesperson on Wednesday broke the news on Twitter that the rebel camp had been discovered and asked the media to send representatives for a tour.
“Happening Now: Members of the Media fraternity visiting an ADF training facility that was recently discovered in Luwero. Suspects are under custody. More details to follow,” Brig Felix Kulayigye said on Twitter on Thursday.
Security has in the recent past arrested hundreds of rebels from many ADF cells in Uganda.
Last year ADF suicide bombers killed civilians Kampala in three separate attacks, Komamboga, Parliamentary avenue and near Central Police Stations.
