Amuriat’s convoy in Nasty Accident; 2 Dead, 15 Injured

The wreckage of the car which overturned

The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) Presidential Candidate Patrick Oboi Amuriat’s motorcade has been involved in a deadly accident in Northern Uganda on Tuesday afternoon.

Two people have perished instantly and fifteen injured, according to officials in FDC.

The accident happened a few kilometers after Parombo township as Amuriat advanced to to Panyimur in Nebbi district.

The driver lost control after one of lead cars in the convoy failed to break and thus, veered off the road and overturned multiple times killing and injuring the occupants.

An eyewitness says, the car overturned 10 times.

The victims are yet to be indentified.

The injured have been rushed to hospital in Pakwach District.
