Phillip Pichan, a consultant Engineer with Ministry of Local Government has succumbed to COVID-19 at Mulago Referral Hospital on Sunday morning.
The young man at the prime of his career was rushed to hospital at 4am on Sunday morning after developing breathing complications.
A family friend said, doctors at Mulago couldn’t save him and he breathed his last as the virus had ravaged his organs including lungs.
“A young man with a young family and children and at the prime of his Engineering career has just died of COVID -19,” said a close friend.
