From Taxes to Politics: Kateshumbwa Announces Sheema Municipality MP Bid

Kateshumbwa will contest on the NRM flag

Preliminary results from the NRM primaries indicate that Dicksons Kateshumbwa is leading Sheema Municipality contest with 64% of the votes cast.

Results so far tallied show that 54 cells out of the total 228, Kateshumbwa commonly known as Katesh has garnered 6248 votes while his closest opponent Dr Elioda Tumwesigye is trailing with 2764 votes (28%) and other two contestants sharing 8%.

The total number of votes so far counted are 9755.

Elioda is the current MP of Sheema Municipality and also the Minister of Science and Innovations.

In Kazo, Dan Kimosho the National Medical Stores spokesperson is also ahead of his rival Godfrey Bafaki, the incumbent MP.
