Disenchanted former Rwampara lawmaker Vincent Kyamadidi has returned to NRM and will contest for the same constituency as Member of Parliament.
The grassing politician in 2018 crossed to Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) having held closed door talks with president Patrick Oboi Amuriat.
FDC members then congratulated Kyamadidi for having ‘seen the light’ and crossed to FDC.
Kyamadidi at the time of joining FDC had miserably lost an election to his archrival Charles Ngabirano in a heated race in 2016.
He has however returned to challenge his opponent for the same post.

Posting on his social media page Facebook over the weekend, Kyamadidd said he was ready to be nominated as an NRM candidate.
The FDC under Patrick Oboi Amuriat (POA) is grappling with massive defections of party MPs who have served FDC for a long time. Over 15 MPs have since quit the party.
This comes at a time the party is also facing a leadership crisis after its founder Kizza Besigye announced he will not contest for President.
Insiders say the party is stuck on who to front as its flagbearer.
POA over the weekend said FDC will not hold nominations should Besigye accept to challenge President Yoweri Museveni who already picked nomination papers as NRM candidate.
