The Ministry of Health has discharged three Ugandans today (Saturday) who had been infected with Coronavirus and have since recovered.
The trio tested negative two times which prompted Ministry of Health experts to consider releasing them.
The Ceremony has been held at Entebbe Grade B Hospital where most COVID-19 patients are admitted with Prime Minister Hon Ruhakana Rugunda as the chief guest.
The Minister of Health Dr Ruth Aceng told the Premier that 15 other patients could leave hospital on Sunday or Monday after recovering.
With the three leaving for home it means the total number of infections stand at 50 currently.
Uganda has flattened the COVID-19 curve after hundreds of Ugandans being monitored in quarantine and other contacts tested negative in the recent past.
