Tycoon Sudhir Ruparelia, the founder of Ruparelia group and chairman of Ruparelia Foundation has contributed two brand new vehicles model- Tata Xenon pickup towards championing the fight against Coronavirus in Uganda.
The cars will be picked by the Taskforce which is headed by Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Ruhakana Rugunda.
President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni had earlier appealed to affluent Ugandans to donate cars and money which will help in distribution of relief food to vulnerable Ugandans across the country during the lockdown.
The distribution of this relief food was flagged off Saturday morning by Mr Rugunda.
Sudhir through his Ruparelia Foundation had earlier kicked off a campaign of delivering food, water and other essential medical supplies to the vulnerable people living in deplorable areas of Kampala after government banned public transport.

Mr Sudhir and his family have many times been engaged in charity activities targeting Kampala slum dwellers. The Foundation has been actively involved in erecting pit latrines in Kamwokya slum.
