Presidential Aspirant Maj. Gen. (rtd) Henry Tumukunde will appear before Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) moments from now.

The former Minister of Security was arrested last Thursday from his Kololo office and detained at SIU in Kireka before he was admitted to Kampala Hospital after falling ill.

A source said, he was supposed to appear before Buganda Road for mention of his charges of treason but a decision has been taken at the last minute to take him to City Hall Court.

Police said Tumukunde’s woes stem from his utterances in which he appealed to Rwanda to support opposition forces in Uganda to overthrow President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.

This is a developing story..
