Kampala capital city Authority (KCCA) will be spending shs 2bn for works on the reconstruction of a section of Binaisa road in Kawempe division.
Addressing the media at City Hall in Kampala, the KCCA acting Deputy Director for roads management, Engineer Jacob Byamukama says that the reconstruction of Binaisa road will help control and manage the bad traffic jam that starts from Kubiri and Mulago roundabout.
He added that the work will involve reconstruction of the walkway, on both lanes, drainage, and street lighting.
Engineer Byamukama also said that the 3-month project will commence on 11th Feb 2019 Monday and urged the public to bear with the inconvenience.
