In a surprise show of comradeship, President Museveni will tomorrow attend the giveaway of Mbabazi’s daughter to South Africa President, Cyril Ramaphosa’s son.
Amama Mbabazi who for a long time was close friend of Museveni and was Prime Minister before he was dropped from cabinet in the run to the 2016 Presidential Elections has kept a low profile.
Mbabazi contested against Museveni in the 2016 elections where he garnered a disappointing low vote.
Museveni and Mbabazi’s friendship dates as far back as highschool before the two joined forces to liberate Uganda in 1986.
Mbabazi’s daughter will be getting married to the South African Ramaphosa at a high profile ceremony where only invited guests will be allowed.
