The Local Council 1 (LC I) Elections have been set for Tuesday, 10 July, 2018 and this day is to be recognized as a public Holiday to the general community throught Uganda.

Wilson Muruli Mukasa, the Honorable Minister of Public service announced this morning

Muruli in a press statement said the public holiday had been declared to enable all Ugandans to participate in the elections which will be conducted by the Electoral Commission.
