Following the soaring spate of criminality in the city, the latest victim is musician Chris Evans Kaweesi who is lying unconscious in Mengo Hospital after a brutal attack on Monday night.
Evans, according to his manager Geoffrey Kayemba was intercepted by thugs on his way home in Lungujja, Rubaga Division.
He was dragged out of his car Toyota Fielder Number UAZ 399J, clobbered him and left him in coma. The thugs made away with Evan’s car.
“He is admitted to Mengo hospital, doctors say he is responding to medication. He was hit by hammers on the head and sustained serious injuries,” Kayemba said.
Police has since launched investigations into the matter.
