This is indeed double tragedy. This morning, a bus carrying over 64 refugees headed to Kyaka Refugee camp rolled killing over 15 of the passengers.
The accident happened at Ruhoko Swamp, 2km outside Ibanda town.
The sharp bend at the swamp took the driver by surprise which resulted in him panicking and in the process rolling the bus.
The corner is a notorious black spot where numerous accidents happen.
The injured refugees were rushed to the nearby Ruhoko Health Centre while the critically injured were ferried to Ibanda Hospital in Kagongo.
