Denis alyenyo, son to Lieutenant Colonel Francis Ongia, the head of Operation Wealth Creation (OWC) in Amolatar District has been missing since Thursday last week.
According to reports, Alyenyo, 33, was picked from his house at around 11pm in Magamaga barracks, Jinja District.
The unknown abductors on Friday called his father Ongia and demanded shs 15 million if he wants his son alive.
Shockingly Alyenyo’s neigbours claim they neither saw the kidnappers nor heard any alarm at the time the incident occurred.
But the father insists his son was picked from his house since his spects were found inside.
Col Ongia adds that his son can do nothing if he is not wearing those spects.
He told the media that he is willing to hand in the ransom if only he see proof his son is still alive.
Alyenyo’s case comes at a time the nation is still grappling to forget the brutal murder of Susan Magara, a 27 year old daughter to a city businessman John Magara who was abducted and later killed after receiving shs 700 million as ransom.
Alenyo is works with Magamaga Barracks and operates a small business inside the military facility.
