Two youth in Kamuli district on Friday kissed death after locals attempted to kill them for allegedly stealing pork.
Patrick Muganda, 20, and Isaac Mutebe, according to Samuel Muhoozi a police officer, they ordered a kilogram of fried pork at Nabirumba pork joint.
Because they didn’t have money they engaged a female chef, realising he was engrossed with they started picking pieces of pork she was about to deliver to a customer, hiding them in their pockets.
The female chef become conscious and saw the pork was not enough unlike what she serves normally.
She then saw the two youth were uncomfortable and had bulged pockets.
She made an alarm, attracting the customers and passersby who ascended on the duo and beat them up.
Police intervened and arrested the two who confessed to have been stealing the pork for their girlfriends.
