Controversial two star UPDF General Kasirye Ggwanga has Monday not attended the decoration ceremony at Ministry of Defence Headquarters.
62 army officers who were promoted recently by the Commander In Chief (CiC) turned up for pipping at a function presided over by CDF Gen David Muhoozi.
But when Maj Gen Ggwanga’s name was read for decoration, he was absent, prompting the MC to indicate that he missed the function for ‘some reason.’
Known for his controversy, Gen Ggwanga had previously vowed never to salute a young general- David Muhoozi as army commander.
