Police Disciplinary Court sitting at the head offices in Naguru, Kampala, dismissed 18 cases levelled against maverick officer Muhammad Kirumira for lack of evidence.
The Buyende DPC, ASP Kirumira has been battling quite a number of charges including torture, corruption, stealing a rolex and many more.
Previously police court heard from Joseph Bukenya, a crime preventer who alleged that Kirumira forcefully ate his rolex (fried chappati and eggs) while he was still OC Nansana, and deliberately refused to refund.
The accuser on Tuesday didn’t turn up prompting court to drop the charge.
Kirumira, recently announced his resignation live on Television citing extreme persecution by his superiors.
He vowed he will never work for the Force again if the President doesn’t disband the top administration.
He would later be arrested and detained in the notorious facility, Nalufenya, in Eastern Uganda for his ‘ferocious’ utterances against an establishment he has been serving.
