The army court has transferred SSP Nixon Agasirwe from Luzira Prison back to Makindye Military Barracks Prison.

The senior police officer is battling robbery, murder and kidnap charges.

Court however, couldn’t reveal the decision to transfer this ‘rogue cop’ although Nixon raised concerns but was advised to inform court through his legal officer.

One of Nixon’s co-accused Abdul Semujju made a u turn and agreed to take a plea in the case, having refused to initially on grounds that he is a civilian who cannot be charged in an army court.

He is charged with kidnapping a Rwanda national.

The prosecution alleges that on 13th August 2013 at Lukole village, in Luweero district, Semujju and Agasirwe, using fire arms and grenades which are a monopoly of UPDF, kidnapped Kalisa Vincent a Rwandese National whom they repatriated back to Rwanda without his consent

He was remanded to Luzira until March 26, 2018.
