Speaker Rebecca Kadaga has permited the Age Limit and two other private members’ Bills whose movers seek to amend the national constitution to be debated on the floor of parliament.
Among those allowed is one by Hon Raphael Magezi, which seeks to amend the constitution to remove the Presidential Age Limit.
Other Motions by Hon Sam Lyomoki and Patrick Nsaba were also permitted by the speaker.
