Police has in custody a prime suspect in connection to the brutal murder of Maria Nabilawa ,20, which occurred on Sunday night in Nyanama a few kilometers from Kampala city.
The suspect had been identified as Charles Kato a boyfriend of the deceased.
He was arrested on Tuesday and is being detained at Central Police Station (CPS).
Kampala Metropolitan Police (KMP) spokesman Emilian Kayima confirmed the arrest.
