Traders of Munkere Market on Kireka-Banda stretch gifted President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni with a bunch of bananas (matooke) earlier today Thursday

The President conducted a drive around Kampala suburbs to popularise/explain the Presidential Initiative to Skill the Youth and Operation Wealth Creation programmes.

This is the initiative of giving Ugandans capacity to produce and sell locally.

While making a stopover at Kireka Museveni had gone to talk to artisans who he intends to create a show room for in furniture.

But he ended up addressing all traders.

To express their support for the president, they donated a bunch of matooke.

Museveni while making the state of nation address in June made it clear that the youth would benefit much more in this presidential term.
