Edward Fred, a traffic officer attached to Kole district north Kyoga region has been exposed on social media platform- Facebook receiving a bribe from a truck driver along Lira- Kamdini highway.
The officer was arrested on orders of Director Traffic and Road Safety Dr. Steven Kasiima.
“This officer has been arrested and criminally charged by CID Kole distrct and will soon appear on Court,” Kasiima told this website
“We will keep you posted on the position of this case.”
Kasiima thanked an individual who posted the video clip exposing the rogue cop.
