High Court judge Elizabeth Kabanda has on Wednesday afternoon denied Makerere University don Dr. Stella Nyanzi bail but instead sent her back to prison until May 10.
Kabanda in her ruling earlier in the afternoon said that the chief magistrate in the lower court erred by denying Nyanzi bail.
The judge has re-directed Nyanzi’s case back to Buganda road court.
She was remanded to Luzira two weeks ago on charges of computer misuse and cyber harassment.
Using her social media page Facebook last year Nyanzi referred to the person of the president as a pair of buttocks.
