Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) bigwig Maj Gen Mugisha Muntu has come out to openly agree with the proposals in his political rival President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s state of the nation briefing read on Tuesday afternoon.
Muntu acknowledged that the diagnosis of his concept is right, but the problem lies on implementation, execution and effectiveness of the plans mentioned.
The fiery former army commander again criticised his ex-boss for being the critical component of some of the solutions to raised challenges.
Muntu said that the President has always wanted to take all the credit even when he uses public funds to cash planned projects.
In his address, Museveni kept highlighting certain incidences where he claims he has dipped hands in his own pocket to donate money to youth projects.
Museveni cited projects that he had personally funded to the tune of billions to empower youth projects around Kampala.
To Muntu, his political adversary uses tax payers money for his own benefit.
The opposition kingpin emphasised that the concept is right, but was being implemented by a very inefficient, corrupt and ineffective system.
Muntu added that Museveni failed to make observations on critical issues of justice, law and order.
Muntu was speaking from his office in Najjanankumbi, Kampala.
The Leader of Opposition in Parliament who belongs to Muntu’s FDC is yet to react to Museveni’s state of the nation address.
