City based businessman of Indian origin Mukesh Shukla alias Shumuk has Monday evening been arrested on charges of forgery.
Detained at Jinja Road Police Station, Shumuka is accused of forging Chief Justice Bart Katureeb’s signature and documents which he would use to grab Late Boney Katatumba’s property.
The businessman is due to appear at Buganda Road Court in November 20, 2018.
The Cases Numbers herein: CID HQ GEF 1089/2017 where he is accused of forgery and CID HQ LPPU GEF 189/2017 in which he faces threatening violence and stealing land titles.
Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Luke Owoyesigire referred us to CID head offices when we contacted him for a comment.
