Ailing legislators Robert Kyagulanyi and Francis Zaake who were barred from travelling to U.S and India have refused medical officers to access their rooms at Kiruddu Hospital in Kampala.
Kyagulanyi better known Bobi Wine and his colleague who represents Mityana Municipality were travelling abroad to further their medical treatment.
Both were tortured by the military during their arrest following the violence that broke out in Arua by-election two weeks ago.
They were admitted at Lubaga Hospital in Kampala.
But because of the grave injuries they sustained, their doctors had recommended the pair to seek specialised treatment abroad.
However, Hon Zaake who left earlier in the day was blocked from accessing his flight to India as immigration officers at Entebbe airport demanded a clearance from CID since he was referred to as a suspect.
In the evening reports began circulating how Bobi Wine had escaped from the hospital and was headed to U.S. He was also intercepted by security at the airport and whisked to Kiruddu Hospital in Kampala.
