Kyadondo East Legislator Robert Ssentamu Kyagulanyi is alive and currently before Gulu Court Martial.
His lawyer and Bugiri member of parliament Asuman Basalirwa has confirmed to the media.
“Only me and Sseggona have been allowed into court martial. We shall brief you,” Basalirwa said.
He said only two people have been allowed access to Mr Kyagulanyi who has been in detention since Monday night.
Commonly known as Bobi Wine, the singer has been held incommunicado triggering claims that he could have been killed after he was subjected to terrible torture by the military.
This new development brings to an end such speculations.
No journalist was allowed to cover the session.
He has been remanded to Makindye barracks until August 23, 2018.
