Singer Bobi Wine real name Robert Kyagulanyi will Thursday appear before the Court Martial on charges of possession of military weapons, government has confirmed.
He will be paraded in Gulu Military Court.
This comes after police reportedly recovered an SMG riffle and several around of ammunition.
The deputy prime minister Gen Moses Ali also briefed parliament on Wednesday in relation Bobi Wine’s plight saying the Kyadondo East lawmaker is hospitalised in a military facility in Gulu but he is ‘ok.’
Ali’s update came after the speaker of parliament Rt Hon Rebecca Kadaga suspended the house for a while requesting government to provide information on the current status on MPs who were arrested on Monday in Arua.
Bobi Wine is accused of spearheading an attack on President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s motorcade.
