Two suspected bombs have been discovered at Plot 66 Kampala road on Friday at around 10am in the morning, Police says.
The police responded very fast and has taken the two suspected items away for proper disposal.
It should also be noted that the same building on May 26, 2018 was found with three suspected stick bombs.
“We have therefore closed the building until further notice to give our teams time to do search and make sure the building is safe to be occupied again. We also call upon the Public to remain calm and also to be on the lookout of any suspicious items and activities in their areas of residence, worship and leisure,” Luke Owoyesigire, Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesman said.
He appealed to the public to alert the police by dialling these phone numbers 0800199990, 0800199991 and 0800019992 in case of anything unusual for a quick response,”
