In an impressive streak of winnings, Uganda’s Golden Boy Joshua Cheptegei has this Friday afternoon run for gold in the 10,000 Metres.
Cheptegei had already won the 5,000 metres gold. His gold medal becomes the 3rd for Uganda at the ongoing Common Wealth Games at Gold Coast Australia.
Ugandans took to social media especially Twitter and Facebook to praise and congratulate Cheptegei on the triumph which places Uganda in an enviable position.
Stella Chesang won a gold medal in the Women’s 10,000m finals at the Commonwealth Games.
