Gun-wielding police men on Monday arrested Top Radio journalist Richard Kasule after presenting the morning show.
He was whisked away to unknown place, says the the coordinator for Human Rights Network for Journalists-Uganda (HRNJ-Uganda) Robert Ssempala.
The harassment, intimidation and arrests of journalists are on the rise following the abduction of New Vision senior crime reporter Charles Etukuri an ally of Police Chief Gen Kale Kayihura by Internal Security Operatives (ISO).
Last week, government clarified that a veteran journalist Reverand Isaac Bakka is in Luzira Prison after he went missing last year. He is facing treason charges.
We are yet to establish why Kasule was arrested.
