As the age limit amendment debate rages on, some MPs are in a dilemma.
Last week, Jovline Kaliisa Kyomukama, the Woman MP Ibanda District faced the wrath of her constituents who rejected her pleas to deliver a condolence message at Katoma village in Ibanda Municipality.
The consituents in loud choruses voiced said they were not going to allow an MP mourn their neighbour Mzee Kimono since she was interested in sending them to abject poverty with her support of the age limit amendment bill that will give President Museveni another slot at presidential ballot paper after 2021.
A few days before, a charged crowd threatened to rip Kalisa apart at Ibanda Intergrated Primary School grounds as she attempted to consult the electorate on age limit.
Kalisa was rescued by teachers after she fled the venue in fear.
The voters bluntly told Kalisa that should NRM party dare amend the constitution she should forget a re-election.
