Kampala Parents School (KPS) has once again affirmed its place among Kampala’s academic elite after posting an exceptional performance in the 2025 Primary Leaving Examinations, where every candidate scored either First or Second Grade.

In a year marked by stiff competition, the school produced an impressive 96 First Grades alongside 89 Second Grades, delivering a flawless showing in the two highest divisions.

The results firmly position KPS among the city’s leading primary schools and place it shoulder to shoulder with long-established top performers such as Kabojja Junior School, City Parents School, Greenhill Academy, Hormisdalen, Sir Apollo Kaggwa Old Kampala, and Kampala Academy. Yet this year’s outcome distinctly underscores KPS’s consistency, a trait that continues to set it apart within this competitive circle.

Education analysts attribute the strong performance to the school’s structured academic systems, regular learner assessments, and a deeply rooted culture of discipline. From early preparation to targeted revision programmes, pupils are guided through a carefully planned learning process designed to leave little to chance. Close cooperation between teachers and parents further strengthens this approach, ensuring learners receive both academic and moral support throughout their primary journey.

The 96 First Grades have placed KPS candidates in a strong position for admission into Uganda’s most competitive secondary schools, where top results remain a key consideration. However, the school’s focus extends beyond examination scores. Emphasis is placed on holistic development, equipping learners with confidence, discipline, and adaptability as they transition to the next level of education.

The 2025 PLE results consolidate Kampala Parents School’s reputation as an institution where excellence is sustained rather than sporadic. As schools across the country reflect on this year’s outcomes, KPS stands out as a clear example of what consistent preparation, clear academic vision, and unwavering commitment to quality can achieve.
