Bebe Cool fulfills Promise, Hands over Fully furnished House to 5-year-old TikToker in Mubende

Bebe Cool handing over the house to Bridgette Mirembe Namiyigo

Celebrated Ugandan music icon Moses Ssali, popularly known as Bebe Cool, has officially handed over a fully furnished house to Bridgette Mirembe Namiyigo, a five-year-old TikTok sensation, in a joyful ceremony held at Kyeguluuso Village, Mubende District on Wednesday afternoon.

The new three-bedroom home, built on a 100-by-100ft plot, is the result of a pledge Bebe Cool made in October 2024 to use proceeds from his Boxing Day concert to change Bridgette’s life.

The event was renamed from ‘Tondeka E Kiwatule’ to ‘Tondeka E Kiwatule Tuzimbire Bridgette Enyumba’ in her honor.

This philanthropic initiative was executed under Bebe Cool’s Amber Heart Foundation, and supported by his fans and several corporate partners including Century Property Real Estates Uganda Ltd, Erianah Hardware Mubende, and DT Solar.

Before this donation, Bridgette, her sibling Ruth, and their mother were living in a crumbling semi-detached house that the young girl humorously described as “Geyeena” (hell) in her popular TikTok skits. Their new home is now a symbol of hope and transformation.

In addition to constructing the house, Bebe Cool furnished it with beds (including one for the mother and eight for children), a sofa set, mattresses, and beddings—creating a livable, dignified space for the family.

Speaking at the ceremony, Bebe Cool expressed gratitude to his supporters:

“I thank Allah for enabling me to do this and all those who attended the concert and gave whatever they could. Every small act counts.”

Pastor Everest Arinaitwe of Prayer Valley Ministry, speaking for Bridgette’s family, lauded Bebe Cool for restoring dignity and hope to not only the child but the entire village.

This gesture adds to Bebe Cool’s long record of charity work, which includes involvement in Nelson Mandela’s 46664 initiative, his work in HIV/AIDS awareness, and his role as Uganda’s Tuberculosis ambassador.

The house handover comes just weeks before Bebe Cool’s highly anticipated “Break The Chains” album release on May 30, 2025, underlining the artist’s commitment to using his fame for positive change.
