A Makerere University student only identified as Betingura has Thursday evening been stabbed in the abdomen and died instantly following chaos that broke out between rival camps; National Unity Platform (NUP) and Forum for Democratic Change (FDC).
The student was reportedly stabbed by Nsibirwa hall residents who are yet to be identified.
By the time Police rushed Betungura to Mulago Hospital, he had breathed his last.
The guild polls are slated for tomorrow Friday.
