Affluent businessman Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia will tomorrow give tips to Ugandans and other investors on how to recoup investment from real estate business.
Sudhir wields real estate experience spanning 30 years with his Meera Investments arguably the largest developer of commercial and residential space, with over four hundred properties in Uganda, will be speaking about the topic: “Real estate as a business ―how is it different from simply owning a real estate?
He will be speaking at the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) organised virtual “E-Bomba Ya Business Summit” that will be broadcast on Zoom, URA TV, BABA TV and BBS Terefayina.
The summit is being run under the theme: “Investing in Real Estate: What you must know and do.”
Dr. Sudhir will be joining Judy Rugasira Kyanda, a Chartered Surveyor and Managing Director of Knight Frank Uganda, who will be speaking about “Tips for individual or small developers”.
Shirley Kongai, the President of, Association f Real Estate Agents Uganda will speak about the “Situational Analysis of the Real Estate Sector” while
Irene Mbabazi Irumba – Assistant Commissioner Research & Innovation, Uganda Revenue Authority will tip real estate entrepreneurs on – “Demystifying Real Estate Taxation and Rates”
The summit takes place tomorrow, October 22nd, 2021, between 10am and 12pm.
The month-long virtual e-bomba engagements are aimed at tipping business owners on financial growth and fostering voluntary compliance, especially as businesses come to terms with Covid-19 pandemic.
The ‘e-bomba ya business’ summits will run in series every Friday until November 12th, 2021.
The first episode of the summits focused on survival through the pandemic with deep conversations on business financing and alternative skills adoption by sectors grossly affected by the Covid 19.
