High Court judge Justice Flavia Angelline has Monday afternoon released Kawempe South Legislator Hon Mubarak Munyagwa Sserunga from Luzira Prison.
He has been in prison for two weeks on remand for failure to pay a Shs 100million debt.
Court released him following an understanding between the motor mouthed lawmaker and his creditor John Baptist Mmali.
Munyagwa pledged to pay back in installments.
Mmaali told court that Munyagwa managed to refund 15 Million shillings and promised to pay the remainder not later than August 2017.
Munyagwa, who was arrested on 10th April 2017 is said to have received the money from Mmali in exchange for a piece of land in Kawempe which later turned out not to belong to the MP..
