Senegalese-American singer, Aliaune Damala Badara Akon’s wife Rozina Negusei has described President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni as a genius leader and a walking library.

She added that a country like Ugandans are lucky to have him as their leader.

“I was pleased to meet such an honourable, genius leader and a walking library. He called me a daughter and gave me a name, Estella Ihangwe. It was amazing to be in the presence of such a knowledgeable leader. I have met several leaders, but President Museveni is exceptionally knowledgeable. You guys are lucky to have such a leader. Seriously, you won’t realise it until he is no longer here,” Rozina told the media after President Museveni.

She urged Ugandans to protect their country by not falling for the West like Libyans.

“The West told Libya that Gaddafi was a dictator. The Libyans believed them and destroyed their own country. Open your eyes, do not believe everything the west tells you,” said Rozina.

Rozina who is in Kampala to promote Uganda music and fashion with USD12m investment recently said Uganda can become the home of entertainment industry.

“Looking for a hub, Africa Hollywood home; if we do entertainment whether movie, music award, every year, Uganda can become the home of entertainment industry.”

A section of Ugandan opposition leaders and their supporters teaming up with foreigners have engineered an internet campaign to portray Uganda as a no go zone, to scare away investors and tourists and subsequently crippled the nation’s economy.

Uganda went into an election on January 14 and re-elected President Museveni for the 6th time. His closest challenger Robert Kyagulanyi garnered 35%.
