Majority of Ugandan women who return from UAE and its neigbouring States have no kind words for those nations and their nationalities.
While most of Ugandans (women) work as house maids, they allege that their bosses who are Arabs subject them to harsh working conditions, others are dehumanized and a few lose lives.
However, not all UAE citizens have a beastly heart, if the returnees’ stories are to go by.
There are many who are loving, kind and have a golden heart.
And a Ugandan identified as Sarah, was lucky to work for a couple- Khalid Al Ameri (husband) and Salma (wife) with two children.
Sarah, whom the couple identifies as “our sister” has worked for this family for 6 years.
While they recorded a video, Salma and Khalid confessed for being heartbroken seeing Sarah depart their home after all those years.
Sarah is slated to wed in 2021 back home.
But Khalid and Salma decided to record a video while surprising their nanny- turned sister.
And the good news is that this couple announced it will fully fund Sarah’s wedding ceremony as a token of appreciation.
The couple cut a cake for Sarah before taking her to town to show her the big surprise. Sarah was finally gifted money to organize her wedding, something that left her in tears. Sarah, who was already paid for her services broke down in tears and found it hard to accept that all the money handed over to her was hers.
They promised to jet into the country and attend her wedding.
