Joyce Bagala quits NBS to join NUP

Joyce Bagala has quit NBS

The Chief News Editor at NBSTV has Thursday handed in her resignation to the top management.

Joyce Bagala told NBS proprietor Kin Kariisa that she will be joining National Unity Platform (NUP) and its foster parent People Power where she intends to contest for Mityana Woman MP.

Bagala will face off with ICT Minister Judith Nabakooba the incumbent MP and also flag bearer of the ruling party.

NUP is led by Robert Ssentamu Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine who already declared his bid for President in the coming election in 2021.

Bagala’s departure has led to the elevation of her deputy Dalton Kaweesa as the new Chief News Editor of NBS.
