Heavy security personnel deployed at Sezibwa Bridge has Tuesday evening blocked Kampala city lord mayor Erias Lukwago from joining his confidant Col Kizza Besigye in Kayunga district.

In a campaign dubbed “my land, my life” Besigye and his cohort planned to address their supporters in Kayunga to enlighten them more about protecting their land.

However, police barred the opposition honchos from travelling to the East because they didn’t seek security clearance.

“But as police was still waiting for Besigye at Sezibwa bridge to stop him from going to Kayunga, he was already addressing a rally in Baale-Kayunga,” Ronald Muhinda, Besigye’s spin machine posted in his Facebook page.

Police still wonders where the FDC kingpin could have passed through to enter the venue.
