The Ministry of Health has Sunday confirmed that an 80-year-old female resident of Mengo, Kisenyi III has become the second person to die of COVID-19 in Uganda.
According to the health ministry, the woman was first admitted at Platinum hospital in Kampala and later referred to Mengo hospital for further treatment.
Ministry of Health publicist Emmanuel Ainebyoona said the ministry will release more details in a press statement.
