Kampala Woman MP, Nabilah Naggayi Sempala has fired back to his tormentors at Najjanankumbi who Wednesday referred to her as an imposter and blocked her nomination for Kampala Lord Mayor.
The FDC electoral boss Toterebuka Bamwenda threw out Nabilah’s nomination forms on account that the deadline for submission had ended the previous day.
Chaos ensued as supporters of Nabilah decried purge and that their candidate was being harassed since she doesn’t support leadership mechanisms employed by FDC top administration.
Mr Toterebuka, would refer to Nabilah as an imposter.
She has since fired back saying the Najjanankumbi clique is infiltrated by the mafia.
“Unfortunately the innocent and most often unsuspecting public falls into their well oiled propaganda machine. Through such a culture, we chip away democracy and the rights that we purport to champion. This prevents more suitable young women and men to join elective positions and this slows down the prospects of political change in the country,” Nabilah posted on her Facebook page.
She however, said she will not be cowed and will continue pursuing her journey to City Hall.
“I will not be fazed! The propaganda has never stopped me and neither will it stand in the way of the Journey to City Hall. #Road2CityHall #KampalaLordmayor.”
