A huge section of staunch catholic believers from Archdiocese of Mbarara Development Association (AMDA) and Kigezi Kampala Catholic Residents Association (KKCRA) are spitting venom following the arrest of one of their own Acleo Byamukama for impersonating Mulago Doctor.
This website understands that Byamukama, 31, has been in the conning business for close to 10 years.
Shockingly many in his circles particularly, prominent leaders in the catholic church knew him as a professional doctor working at Mulago.
However, others had busted him and offered to rehabilitate him, but he ignored their advice before he could land in the hands of Col. Edith Nakalema on Sunday at Kawempe General Hospital.
Authorities at the facility told the media that Acleo had reached a point of accessing their theatre and administering an operation to one of the patients.
He would also solicit funds from the patients to offer them medicine, which contravenes the guidelines of the hospital.
But information obtained by this website, reveals that Acleo, had not only ‘infiltrated’ Kiruddu Hospital, but had also penetrated others health facilities like Mulago Referral Hospital and was well known at Mt.Sion Bukalango Church as a health expert.
But some of his associates had learnt of his mischievous ways and only warned him but also offered help so as he abandons the deadly game which was likely to land him in hot soup.
However, he rejected the advice and demonized all those he perceived as “enemies of his trade” little did he know it would usher him into shame and disrepute.
Acleo is married to Lynne Tukahebwe, 25, an accountant who he first met at a friend’s wedding in 2015.
