President Yoweri Museveni will address the nation again tonight at 8pm to expound on the guidelines he issued on Monday in relation to partial lifting of the lockdown which have since left the public in total confusion.
Don Wanyama, the President’s press secretary confirmed to this news site that Museveni will make another address on Tuesday night.
“After receiving lots of feedback from the public on his address last evening, President Museveni will today, at 8pm, hold a televised address to respond to some of the issues. Tune in,” Don Wanyama Tweeted.
The confusion stems from Museveni’s guidelines in which he allowed a few services in the country to operate but tied them in use of masks which he says the government will give out for free in two weeks’ time.
For example, Museveni opened private transport but didn’t not clarify on whether the users should wait for masks or not.
The confusion began on Monday afternoon when State House indicated that Museveni’s address which was slated for evening had been pushed to Tuesday evening but only to be reinstated a few hours later which left the public questioning.
