Just in: Uganda Confirms 2 new COVID-19 Cases; Patients are Tanzanian Truck Drivers

Five new COVID-19 cases have been reported Sunday evening by Ministry of Health bringing total number of infections to 121

The Ministry said that out 1498 samples taken of cargo drivers, 5returned positive.

Among the patients, 2 are Ugandans and 3 Kenyans.

“Tracking them commenced and the public will be informed accordingly,” the Ministry said.

Uganda has not registered any COVID-19 related death with 55 recoveries.
