Fireworks speaks out on losing Pepsi business

Fireworks team

Fireworks advertising agency insists it still has business with Crown Beverages Limited (CBL).

This comes after reports emerged the ad agency had lost its cash cow CBL it had held for years.

However, Fireworks Managing Director Caleb Owino acknowledged CBL has trimmed its budgets due to bad economy that has ripped the nation apart.

He was reacting to a story published by TrumpetNews last week titled “Bad economy; Advertising business slumps, agencies crumbling” which indicated that established advertising companies are financially bleeding and on the verge of collapsing.

Whereas emerging or little known firms are doing wonders on the market.

“We wish to clarify reports that brainchild Burson-Marsteller, the PR business unit of fireworks Advertising  has closed its office at Nyonyi Gardens and transferred our PR and Digital staff,” an email from Caleb to TrumpetNews partly reads.

“We are very much open and operational at Nyonyi Gardens, Plot 16-Wampewo Ave. Our client, CBL, took the decision to buy media directly from media houses however, we still handle  their creative work and as such, they remain our clients contrary to the TrumpetNews story,” he concluded.
